anyone know howmuch the empolyee discount is?

A family friend works for HP and is going to be able to get me the employee discount for my college computer, I am wondering if anyone knows what HP's discount is so I can plan out what I can get for my computer to have it fit in my budget with the discount, before I go talk to the person who works for HP.

EPP usually varies from company to company, and I don't think it's something that will be publicly discussed (as to exactly how much % they get). Your best bet would be asking him in the nicest way possible, explaining your situation. If he's willing to get one for you, I don't think he'd hold back how much discount he'd get from HP.

I have an uncle who works at hp...the discounts arent that great for me. The educational discount seems to be better.
