Difference between HP nc and dv series
What is the difference between HP nc and dv series ? The HPShopping websites show only the dv series.
I am pariticularly interested in HP V3000t/dv2000t. Any comments on the weight, battery life, mobile application performance ? How does it compare with Thinkpad T60 or Sony Vaio SZ series ?

Re: Difference between HP nc and dv series
Hp's v and dv series are consumer notebooks, which means they have a lot of features but sacrifice build quality. The NC series is part of HP's business line, which offers superior quality and not so superior design IMO.
Both Thinkpads and Vaios would be more expensive and better built than any HP notebook. If you compare the availability of features - HP, Sony and IBM each have strenghts and weaknesses. If you compare quality and durability, HP consumer notebooks lag behind.
For more detailed information you need to specify a model because there are lots of them with different weights, batteries, screens, etc."The effect of liberty to individuals is, that they may do what they please; we ought to see what it will please them to do, before we risk congratulations."L2000 LiveStrong
