Guess I'll be returning my Envy 17 3D that I just got on the 29th of December. They better refund my drop and spill protection plan too!

Do yal know how strict they (HP) are on returns? Any reason they won't accept a return? Should I not say I'm returning it because "I'm waiting on the Sandy Bridge Model"?

    More info on Engadget today:
HP updates Envy 17, dv6, and dv7 with Sandy Bridge, gives Mini 210 some new threads -- Engadget

I'm assuming an updated Envy 14 will follow too.

My first post here. Hello dudes...
It has been 6 years since I built my last PC. (AMD 3400 2.20 GHz)

I ordered this laptop on 12/27. It isn't going to ship until 1/24. I figure the Sandy Bridge i7 processor was going to cost a ton and wasn't willing to pay $1500+ on a laptop. I have read on here that a dude got a a similar laptop to the one I order for $1150 with the Sandy Bridge. If that is the case I think I am going to do a return. What do you all think?

Supposedly dly as long its within 21 days its no questions asked for the return. Although I didnt say Im waiting for Sandy Bridge. I said the thing just gets too hot. I did it thru chat too, not on the phone. IT went well and was very quick.

I would cancel the order right now. He bought on physical store, so just go where he went or wait a bit to appear online.
