I am really liking my HP G70 (great value/performance for the $$) and am interested to see what HP is going to do to the machine for its mid-life refresh.

Wouldn't have been a bad idea to just do an Envy 12, 14, 16 and 18 to cover the sizes Apple doesn't offer with the MacBooks.

As a boutiquish brand name I dont see a point in offering the Envy in every possible size though.

Looks like HP's the only one not having itself shut when it comes to future releases. I feel this won't make it in time for the holidays, but hoping to see some in CES 2010.

I do agree here. I thought the Envy was a reserved brand for elite laptops...now they want to cover almost the entire spectrum...

I want to keep my pavilion - the envy i saw at best buy was running insanely hot (so much so that they put it on a cooling pad) - haha and i need a cool computer (

scarred for life after the dv9543cl)

I must warn though, that some cooling pads make the envy warmer.
