HP dv5t shutting off for no reason
Ok, so there might be a reason, but I have no idea what it would be.
Basically, my HP dv5t just shuts off when I'm doing random things. It used to be all the time, and I thought it might be an overheating issue, so I raised the back of it half an inch. That didn't fix the problem, however, so I also positioned a fan behind it and turned the fan onto the highest setting. This seems to make it work, if the computer isn't plugged in. If it is, and the battery power's at 100%, it might turn off anyway. Additionally, I cannot play any 3D games. Even with the fan on, the back raised, and the power cord unplugged, all 3D games will only run for a maximum of 20 mins before the computer shuts down. The strange thing is, the computer isn't even hot when it shuts down during the 3D games. I don't have an temp. program, but the last time the computer shur down while playing a game it was only a little bit hotter to the touch than it is now, surfing the internet. Is there something seriously wrong with the computer, or is there something I'm just not getting? Thanks!

Re: HP dv5t shutting off for no reason
hmm, it might be overheating or probably, a cable inside that has a loose contact or a bad mobo.
the NBR Knight is back from.....some place. Idk where.

Download HWMonitor and post back with your idle and load temps.
