    Does anyone know where to find the rather snazzy wallpapers shown here (click on "HP") ?

    This is a company that has produced some of HP's artwork... yet some of the wallpapers they're showing off, don't seem to exist in the wild -- and unfortunately, the images on that site are only 680x380.

    Next laptop: most likely an EliteBook 8770w, but I'll check out the Dell Precision line, too.

    One of those in particular caught my eye, so I wanted to see what I could do to make it usable as a wallpaper. I just scaled it up to 1920x1080 and replaced the center HP logo with a super high resolution one and modified it to make it look like the logo that was used originally...

    The end result turned out to be pretty usable! It reminds me of an old, worn cartographer's star map.

    That one looks like a wallpaper I've seen on one of our HP desktops. That desktop is a 1920x1080 screen too.

    Not sure if anyone is interested, but since the Boontje and Tam designer wallpapers were posted, I thought perhaps someone might like the LiveStrong ones that came with the HP Special Edition L2000/2300 series notebooks.

    They can be downloaded from here and extracted from the .exe file. A couple of them are actually pretty nice.
