    Default Question : about my Dv6790 ej / cooling problems

    hi i have dv6790 ej Hp
    and i have Question
    does it ok when , i play havey games
    on max graphics
    my heat that coming out of laptop is CRAZY!!!

    the color of my laptop near the cpu and gpu air ways is little gray 0\_o
    cuz of the heat


    what should i do ?



    and is it should be like that ?

    wow my gpu 61 C!!! idle
    wwhen i played it was hoter!! omg
    HDD 45 C
    proccerors 45 C idle

    omg?????????????

    i am playing now gpu over 70 C!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    and Cpu 70C+++

    The cpu and hdd look normal, but I'm not sure about the idle temp of 61C on the 8400M GS (as my Go 7200 idles around 50C). Perhaps someone with the same gpu can post their idle temp......

    EDIT: What is your current BIOS version? F.51 updates the fan algorithms so the unit runs cooler.....

    my bios is f.53 the latest one i did update from hp site

    Your temps are still in the usual range.

    You can improve your temps by getting a cooling pad and/or undervolt

    is there any fixed bios for hp dv6000?
    better then f.53?

    No there are no third-party BIOS's As far as I know. If you have the latest one, then thats it.
