hp dv6277ea shutsdown on its own
Ive been having problems lately with my laptop shutting down on its own sometimes makes a bleeping noise all the lights flash sometimes it does nothing i push the power button sometimes it comes on other times i have to take the battery out today i have been encoding something and it kept going off no light just dead Ive taken the battery out and used just the power cable and its not gone off i think its the battery has there been any recalls ?

Do you monitor your Notebook Temperatures? I suggest you download HWMonitor and post your temperatures here. It is just a guess but could lead to solutions.

It could be that the battery is heating or is causing some heat to build up! Try it and post your results with and without the battery too if possible.

normally have it on a cooler pad and it still turns off

my old ze2000 did the same thing. But it wouldn't turn on for about 5 mins. Really annoying. I used a compressed air can to blow air into the vent and a lot of dirt came out. After that it rarely turned off. Might as well give that a try.
