Compaq Presario C700 / C710ED -- A quick review

I also have the presario c710ED. I bought it 2,5 years ago, and now slowly looking for a new one.

Considering the price I bought this for, it worked perfect! I installed XP and got rid of vista because in my opninion, vista is to heavy for this laptop. With the drivers and HP support, it was difficult finding the right ones, but once xp was installed, I have had no problems at all.

I used this laptop for some heavy stuff aswell.. 3d drawings in autocad etc.. It works.. but it does stress it out.

currently I am looking for a new laptop. The compaq is to outdated for me now, and I need much better performances. But for the time i had the compaq, it was an amazing laptop for the price I got it.

Wrt to the laptop I reviewed, unfortunately, since I got it for somebody else, I have no idea how the laptop is doing or even if it is still being used/functioning...
