Expect half to low resolution 3D handling.

The 8400M GS isn't a great gaming graphics card, and will manage older games better. If you want to game, then a good graphics card to look out for is the 8600M GT or the slightly weaker 8600M GS. Either of those cards will be better than the 8400M GS.
