Default Print Screen key is not working

I tried to make a screenshot, but it seems Print Screen button is not working.

I have dv6000, and Windows XP is installed. I tried CTRL + Prt Sc, ALT etc... Does not work...

After I press it, nothing happens. There`s no image in buffer, I can`t paste it.

    CTRL+PrtSc then CTRL+V doesn't work?

You press and hold the [fn] key then hit the [prt sc] also known as insert key once, after which you paste the image into a paint document.

You paste by clicking the paste button or by:

press and hold [ctrl] then tap the letter [v] once.

I assure you this is how it's done, exactly.

And if you just want to grab the active window, just press and hold, [ctrl]+[FN] and tap [prt sc].

    I know that CTRL + V = Paste

    But it doesn`t work

when I press just Prt Scr (Insert)

or even CTRL + Prt Scr (Insert)...

This key works on my desktop keyboard. When I need to take a screen shot I just press Print Screen button and then paste it into Photoshop or Paint.
