HP DV3T hits the HP site!
The DV3T is up on the HP site for customization!
http://www.shopping.hp.com/webapp/sh...me=dv3t_series
Feature I haven't seen yet is the LED+Infinity display. It also has a backlit keyboard option. Other than that, it basically has the same options as the DV4.
One thing that struck me was the cost... seems to be overly expensive, at least when you compare it with the DV4.

Re: HP DV3T hits the HP site!
Oooh...a new HP Pavilion to configure on the website. The specs look nice overall and is a great alternative to those who want the same performance as a dv4, but with more portability (not to mention that back-lit keyboard).
However, I think the price has to go down just a bit before it becomes something that's worth buying.

Re: HP DV3T hits the HP site!
I hope HP would wise up and include the backlit keyboard and the led/infinity options for the DV4...
They haven't given it any of these "extra" type features since..... well, ever.

Re: HP DV3T hits the HP site!
Hmm...these are 16:10 ratio screens while the ones posted yesterday were 16:9 screens. I wonder why HP is selling two models of the same laptop with different screens or if its just a typo on the other website.

Not really, a Dell Studio XPS weighs about the same with a 6 cell battery.

Re: HP DV3T hits the HP site!
Does anyone know how does the high capacity 6-cell battery look like? Is it flush with the housing? It claims to have a 7 hour battery life, so approximately 5 hours of real use, which is impressive.

Re: HP DV3T hits the HP site!
Temps will be cooler with the Intel chips, read the Heat/Noise section for more information:
HP Pavilion dv3510nr Review
They say that the thermal performance is very good, just FYI.
GPU wise, if you got the intel 4500MHD graphics, the ATI solution would trounce it. But if you get the Nvidia 105, I believe it will give decidedly better performance.
The high-capacity 6-cell battery looks exactly like the standard 6-cell. I think you have that confused with the 9-cell- that's the one that gives the advertised 7 hours and that juts out a bit, something like------->
