So far so good, the installation went smoothly, have not run any benchmark programs, however the system does feel more responsive.

Very cool. Checked, works with my Zbook 14, should fit any of the Firepro 4xxx graphics laptops. I like the firepro specific stuff vs the 8xxx drivers, but you have the option of running those as well, if you go by amd's website.
    Acer Aspire One, HDD crashed!
Acer Aspire V5-122p-0869 Stock, seeking upgrades!
Lenovo thinkpad x61s. Expanded memory, linux\seven.. otherwise stock.

Desktop: Asrock Mobo, 8gb DDR21066 ram, AMD Phenom 9600 black, Seagate 500gb 7200rpm HD, Radeon hd 4870 x2, 700w PSU, all crammed in an E-machines case w\22in hd monitor and wireless lg mouse\keyboard.

you saying you can put 8xxx drivers on firepro graphics if wanted to from the website and it will install? I just bought zbook 14 and wanted to know if this was possible actually.

Sorry for the late reply. The answer is YES. However, I rolled back to this one, as I didn't like all the extra stuff with the 8xxx version driver. AMD autodetect found my drivers for me and said the 8xxx series stuff was correct. I went to this new amd firepro one now, though.
