Re: Which IPS: HP DreamColor vs Dell PremierColor ?
There are companies that will re-coat a screen for a fee. Online, I have come across two such companies over the years.
[Edit addition:] The idea presented by the companies was to change from matte to glossy or from glossy to matte. Maybe some companies have more than one type of matte coat available, or a matte coat that will not grain at any dot pitch.Last edited by rahasyavadi; 11th August 2012 at 09:26 AM.

Re: Which IPS: HP DreamColor vs Dell PremierColor ?
Is the Dell IPS screen capable of the REC 709 standard and does it have enough adjustments for proper calibration?

Re: Which IPS: HP DreamColor vs Dell PremierColor ?
Does Dell even offer their IPS (PremierColor) at this time??? I've looked on their website and it's not there any more, not in the M4700, although they do have it in their M6700, but that's a *load* to carry!!!
OOTM
EDIT: As of today, 2013 Feb 02, Dell is still not offering the IPS on the M4700. A pity, but life goes on!Last edited by Out of the Maelstrom; 2nd February 2013 at 08:47 AM.
