    Default Elitebook Original Build Specifications

Does anyone have a link to the HP web site where I can look up the original build specifications by serial number and model? I can find this feature to verify warranty, but not for build specs like Dell and Lenovo have on their web sites.

I used HP's online support and the person told me that they would email me the build specs, but this is all he sent after providing him with the serial number:

Those are pretty much the only configurable parts anyway. HP doesn't have a publicly accessible site to retrieve this info, but their technical support will be able to pull this info from the system.

Thanks for the info! It's just weird, because the notebook actually has 4G memory, from the original build and nVIDIA 3100 dedicated graphics as well. Also, I believe the hard drive was a different capacity.

That's a preconfigured unit with an Intel onboard graphics card. If your notebook says it has an Nvidia GPU the system board may have been changed at some point.

I've found specs online at Newegg and CDW showing this unit with the nVIDIA?
