    Default P150EM barebones

Does anyone have a decent source for barebones laptop parts? Would be rather interested in a self build rather than chucking bits out to make way for high end parts.

Dunno for certain they sell just parts, but for Clevo/Sager items, check with AVA-Direct, Mythlogic, or RJTech.

If it is normal stuff like CPU, RAM, or HDD, you can check with places like newegg or tiger direct.

RJtech sells the barebones, then You can search places like Newegg, Amazon, Tigerdirect, Ebay for upgrades to fill in the parts you do not purchase.

I've looked into this, and it doesn't offer a huge savings over buying a complete system, but its more fun to build yourself!

    How about here?

I'd recommend getting a CPU+GPU from them. It's cheaper compared to user bought CPU and GPU's

Those are MSI barebones; he wants a Clevo P150EM.

Also, the CPUs are not that cheap. They're about equal to the retail value. Ebay has the best prices for CPUs and Wifi/BT, unless you know people. Otherwise, RAM and HDD can be bought off Newegg/Amazon per usual.

You SHOULD be able to call up any Clevo reseller and buy a barebones unit, like no OS, no CPU, no RAM, no HDD, you'll get a discount, dunno whether it is worth it though as OEM CPU's are pretty much sold at cost. I know for a fact Sager does it, unsure of any other reseller.

Laptop parts as in CPU, RAM, HDD/SSD? The CPUs can be a bit hard to come by but I think Newegg (if you're in the US) carries them.

Considering you've got the "uk" in your name I'll call out you from Europe...

try contacting PWNPC's, they'll sell you a good P150EM barebone, or else try clicking on my signature thread the one with Clevo, there's a list of resellers that are located near you and will probably sell you a barebone

    good luck

I'd recommend RJTech, they usually ship the parts quickly and they've been very helpful when I've been asking questions.
