GPU choice...
Hi, guys!
So I have a big decision to make. I want to play battlefield 3 on atleast medium-high settings, and I have to choose between these 2 GPUs.
Tell me what you guys think.
1. GTX670M
2. Mobility HD 5870M Crossfire (x2).
The X2 sounds infinitely better, but I'm a little worried about it's power consumption and over heating. Can the Crossire set up go higher than medium high settings? Thanks.

Re: GPU choice...
I can tell you that BF3 on my R2 on 1680x1050 and medium is pretty laggy. All depends on the resolution/quality you want to play. 5870's are getting old now, it's lost it's top place 2 generations ago. I'd probably stick with the 670M as it'll be paired with the newer Sandy Bridge/Ivy Bridge platform, whereas 5000 series ATI is still with Arrandale/Clarksfield.

Re: GPU choice...
Im guessing that Crossfire notebook could be a m17x R2?
If thats the case you might add crossfire AMD Radeon HD 7970m for some awesome performance.
A GTX 670m is very similar to a GTX 570, a decent GPU that can OC very well.
If the price is right then it could be a good choice too.Clevo P170HMx: Intel Core i7 2720QM | Nvidia Geforce GTX 680m 4GB | 8GB DDR3 | Intel SSD 510 120GB | Seagate Momentus XT 500 GB
