Which i7?
Hey guys,
I need your expertise on this one. I'm going to buy a new laptop in the next few days and I wanted to know which processor is better between the i7-2670QM and the i7-3610QM. They're basically the same price... Should I go for the 3610QM? Is it any better?

Go for the i7-3610QM! It's the CPU that was just launched on the 29th April 2012. It should run slightly faster and also have a faster integrated GPU.

Might as well go with the 3610 as long as the price is within $50. The only difference is the 3610 is 22nm as opposed to the 32nm of the 2670 so slightly better battery life and will run slightly cooler. You also get the HD4000 IGP

If you are getting them for almost same price. Go with i7-3610QM
If you want i7-2670QM, wait for some days, hope makers will offer good promotions on sandy bridge.

I would say it's worth the small amount to get the latest tech. Small speed boost, and newest tech.
