    Default ASUS A42J Vx040d possible graphic card upgrade?

    I have an ASUS A42J series vx040d model

    It has 2 graphic cards on it an Interl(R) HD Graphics and a Geforce GT 335m

    These are the specs:

    Intel Core i5-450M (2.40 GHz, 3MB L3 Cache, up to 2.53 GHz)

    Mobile Intel HM55 Express Chipset

    nVidia GeForce GT 335M (1GB GDDR3) & Intel(R) HD Graphics

    14 inch WXGA (1366x768)

    4 GB DDR3


    Tell me if any extra info is needed thx in advance

    so it's impossible to swap both the Nvidia gt335 and the Intel(R) HD graphics?

    Sorry hav no knowledge in computers at all ><

    If the gpu's are integrated, that means you would need a new motherboard with new/better integrated gpu's to 'upgrade' from what you have. Making sure that all other port locations and other physical and electrical specifications are met. Definitely not a cost effective way to get slightly higher performance from your current chassis/screen/keyboard combo.

    Much better use of your time and energy is to sell what you have now and buy what you really need (either new or used).
