    The A10 4600M with 7660G GPU score in 3DMark11

The A8-3500M with 6620G GPU score in 3DMark11

    3DMark11 GPU score increase: 55%
About the same score as GT555M
7670M + 7660G in Hybrid CF give slightly more GPU score than 560M

    AMD Trinity APU Preview
No benchmarks yet, but lot of technical details, here are the most interesting ones :

AMD A10-4655M Vs. Intel i5 3317U --- AMD A8-3550MX, A6-4400M, A10-4600M Review --- Trinity APUs won't work in Llano laptops --- Mobile Llano IGP overclocking --- Old HP Printer with Windows 8 Guide

    I have little concerns after thinking on the above graphs;

-the 4 cores looks 2 cores,
-900MHz CPU overclock brings only 19% performance increase (meaning weak CPU power me, a strong CPU could show significant performance increase for hard overclock),
-685MHz GPU Turbo core can manage only 1135 3DMark 11 points, while 6620G @ 685 could do more....
-GPU turbo core able to work under 3DMarks, but how about CPU demanding games?

It does not seems big bang after Llano, perhaps for laptops without discrete graphics still better buy than Intel's solution....

    6620G with 1600MHz CAS 9 only gets 870 3DMark11. That's ~ 25% improvement. Unless you're saying 6620G @ 685 could do more.

Exactly what I planned to say; 6620G @ 685 could do more.
So only 25% improvement with Turbo core??? Well that is not 56% what AMD was saying earlier. Plus the article's title also mean something: Evolution or Devolution?
But hope I'm wrong and it is gonna be much better in real tests as I expect now.

so what does this mean to regular notebook users

It's 4 integer cores, but only 2 FPUs and 2 of most other resources typically associated with cores. In practice, it's somewhere between two cores with hyperthreading and four real cores.

You are right, that makes no sense. I would guess they screwed up the marketing slides.

I could be much more happier if AMD would forget Bulldozer and build up something new from ground. Similar case with Cayman graphics core, why are they pushing it?

Do you know guys why is the Wrzone link gone? I cannot find the article no more....

Not long until we see some good benchmarks now. The HP Pavillion G6 with the AMD A10-4600M is on sale now in Korea for about $850

Here is the marketplace. Man I have never seen so many pictures in an advert before lol
