Re: AMD Fusion Info Thread
You pointed out really well, I doubt if they going to have good overclocking potential, maybe multipliers will be locked and cannot be overclocked at all
. An A6-3400M can be overclocked from 1.4GHz to 2.6GHz easily, but an A6-4400M from 2.6GHz to ???
However as I said before CPU performance is quite good enough in AMD solutions as well, in laptops always the GPU part is the big concern. Trinity will change on it and you can play without restrictions...

AMD Mobile A10 Trinity presentation on Dirt 3. The games settings are on high and the game play is almost smooth.

Another interesting Trinity article from from Fudzilla, which claims independent sources have already confirmed that Trinity APUs should still be compatible with older FM1 motherboards.Last edited by Atom Ant; 6th April 2012 at 06:46 AM.

Cloud, source? It'd be interesting to know what CPU is in "This Computer" as well.

Re: AMD Fusion Info Thread
Source is xxxxxxx. Maybe those guys at Anandtech can help you kevmanw

Here is another CPU benchmark of the A10-4600M
And then we have this
All in all, the 4600M is looking pretty impressiveLast edited by Cloudfire; 13th April 2012 at 05:02 PM.

Re: AMD Fusion Info Thread
If that CPU benchmark is accurate, then the A10-4600M is roughly 22% behind SB 2670qm.
That would indicate that AMD is still behind Intel, but the difference in CPU power is much lower than it was before.Acer Aspire 5930G - 15"

Re: AMD Fusion Info Thread
LOL after all the leaks being made during the years, you people must realize that engineering samples and leaks happens all the time.
Speaking of leaks, here is the A10-4500M tested again
All processors tested at stock frequency though so the results are skewed. But interesting non the less
