Look on pages 23-26 of the datasheet.

Please tell me your default voltage, this is the voltage @10x without RMclock running.

    ok, according to cpu-z, @ 10x it is 1.175

    EDIT:

    it looks like if i set VID3 to 0 i would end up with 1.275 . ??

looking at the pin layout, i should be able to connect VID3 to the pin directly above it vss.
i think i'm gunna give it a go...

    Sounds right to me.

I would like naton to confirm it though, because I have never done this mod myself.

If you do it, could you upload a pic?

ok, yup, i've done it, and its working. i'll take a pic here in a few and post it.

    notes about mod so far:

1- any apps i've run do not indicate a voltage increase at all. ( they all still show 1.175 )
2- i know it did raise the voltage because full load temps have gone up considerably
3- the system is definatly more stable now then it was.
(i was not able to run at 260mhz for more then 1-2mins, its now been fully loaded at 260 for 10mins error free!)

that mod that you just did should get you at least another 200mhz (unless your ram becomes unstable).

    my T7300 is stable @2.6ghz with 1.1625V.

depending on your ram, maybe you could increase the voltage more and go further?

If you change vid4 to 0 instead of vid3 then you will get 1.3750V.
That should get you very far.

FYI, my default voltage is 1.2375V.

EDIT: lol my post count is eleet

wow, you think the cpu would take such a higher voltage as that?? (as it is, full load temps went from 70c to 83c) max for this cpu is 100c.

btw still solid at 260... this definatly made all the difference!
will attempt to go further in a little bit.

    EDIT:
heh congrats on the post count!

I guess you don't really need it unless you want to try for 3ghz.

    I suggest 266mhz.

Because if you can get it stable @266mhz then you could do another PLL mod (FSLB pin I think) to change the FSB to be 266mhz.
So that you wouldn't need to run setfsb.

Your bootup time will be faster too.
