Found my recovery DVD, I'm ripping it, but it's a lot of data - 3.7GB if I can't compress it any. I'll upload it, but I'm going to have to split it into parts, and it'll take probably the whole day to do.

I just found mine too, If JimBobVII can't get it working I'll give it a go.

Also, if you ever need to replace the keyboard, Hannspree charges $30 + $22 shipping. But shipping is same whether you order, one, two, or three keyboards. I just ordered two because my kids spilled juice on one and it died, but got smart and ordered a cheap generic keyboard protector for it. At least it should last longer this way (hopefully).

Might be best for you to try uploading; uploads keep crashing on the only PC constantly connected to the internet here, and with this connection it'd take roughly 25 uninterrupted hours anyways.

I can make a physical DVD and ship it to anyone willing to cover shipping costs, though.

Hi, you think you can host the pics and where to get the module you used? AND CABLE to connect the module?

    EDIT:

eBay has a lot of Broadcom BCM92046 modules, is it the thin one or the wider one? I am sure it's not the PCI-E because we are plugging it in the 8-pin connector labeled BT1

There were no 64-bit drivers, the only thing that Windows didn't set up automatically was the wireless driver, which I had to set up off the included driver disc.
Looks like I may have been dished some bad RAM in my refurb as well. I'd get everything reinstalled and running (with 105 Win 7 updates), leave it sit powered down, come back the next day, power on and BSOD with MEMORY_MANAGEMENT error/dump. They put some cheap 2GB PC3-8500 stick in it. I wanted 4GB anyhow so this will give me a reason.

All fixed - 4GB Crucial memory took care of it.

Too bad that they ship these things with cheap/crappy memory. For $5 extra they could put a decent 2GB chip.

Here's a good alternative to the HannsBook SN12E2. $299 for Dell Inspiron 11z with i3-330um CPU. More powerful than the Hannspree, and probably better battery life too.

That $299 is a really good price for a new 11z from Dell - as it says it is a limited time discount. Can't find even a used i3 model for that price.

Will need to sit on my hands a few days or I may be tempted to grab one.

Same here, lol. And I just bought a DM1z, which you can get for $375 now with E-450. The E-450 GPU is much better than the i3-330um, but the i3-330um is a much better CPU.
