Has anyone tried lower the voltages of the lower 3 profiles to something less than .9V? I would think that for 2D the voltages could be set really low.

Re: found a way to GREATLY improve FPS stability with VERY LOW TEMPS 7811fx/7805u users only
I have a 7811FX and I get overheating-related crashes like a lot of other people. I've tried every fix out there (including various RivaTuner shenanigans) but have only ever found partial success; this GPU undervolting is the only thing left I can try but I'm not completely confident that I fully understand the process.
I can't use the instructions in the OP because nvflash gives a compatibility error for the 7811FX, and I can't follow zolidznake's alternate instructions on page 14 to the letter because I haven't the slightest idea of how to get a hold of a copy of my own BIOS. Forsaken123 apparently has a collection of some of zolidznake's mods over here which might let me skip to the end of that whole process, but those were made from 9C.10.00 and I'm currently running 9C.05.00, so I'm not sure if they're safe to use. I tried upgrading to 9C.10.00 myself via a win32 executable, but it insisted that I was reverting to an older version; that didn't make much sense so I panicked and canceled it.
I've never flashed a BIOS before and I know it can brick your computer if you do it wrong, so I'm afraid to do anything without knowing for sure that it won't cause a problem. Could anybody give me a quick confirmation as to how I can safely proceed from this point?

Hi ONE_J can you send me a 9c.17.00 .95v files for the 7811? I tried so many times and all the links I've found around this forum are dead.
My email is mrdull@hotmail.com
Thanks.

One_J, has there been a way yet to flash the VGA bios directly? I want to be able to test out my own voltages, but I don't want to bother you with bios requests. Also, I don't trust myself to not make any mistakes. I think I have seen some VGA BIOSes from this card floating around the internet, but I don't know how people got them.
Another question, isn't NVFlash developed by NVidia? And if so, couldn't I just ask them if they have a working version?

You can't adjust the voltage of the GPU:
Undervolting/overvolting gpu impossible through nibitor
