6860 Replacement due within 3-4 weeks
For those who don't know, I am a fan of the 6860 as well as a employee of best buy.
I was checking out employee tool kit today at work and found the info I was looking for...
The P-7811FX will begin shipping Aug 14.
The new FX is said to have a 17" 1900*1200, 200GB 7200RPM HD, 4GB of DDR3 800, and the 9800M GTS. That is all I can recall from memoryLast edited by Chase.Barnett; 30th July 2008 at 01:47 AM.

Re: 6860 Replacement due within 3-4 weeks
hrm... now the question becomes do i get a new 6860 when i get back into town or will it be replaced with a 7811-fx do to the fact that i'm outside of country for the next few weeks and cant go and actually get a replacement.
I'm curious.
I hate the hard drive, but i LOVE most everything else listed. I cannot wait until you insider trade that information away and we can all enjoy it.
Be sure to black out any markings that tell what store your from, just to protect yourself.
I dont know if its 800mHz RAM then its DDR2 or if its DDR3 then it has to be at least 1066 right?I am Vengeance, I am the Night, I am BATMAN!

It will be a very nice system. From what I saw today, we aren't recieving any more shipments of the 6860.
