Default Best monitoring software for GPU and CPU?

What's the current best, easy to use, monitoring software for GPU and CPU temps? I'm looking for something that has on-screen display of the temps.

Wow, that's a big list of software. Which one do you recommend for easy-to-use CPU+GPU monitoring with on-screen display?

I downloaded HW Monitor, and I can't see an option to make an on screen display overlay. Does it not have that capability? Also, does it have an option to monitor FPS?

no it runs in the background so you have to close game page down to see it.

use fraps to monitor fps (on same page)
