Should I back it up first without installing the latest Asus G53sx drivers and latest NVIDIA Drivers?
That back up can come in handy if you ever want to restore your machine to factory specs etc. I'd update the drivers first, then back it up. This saves you the $50 you have to pay asus for a restore disc should you ever need one.

It's not a "have to", but there are some decent bug fixes, in the ATK drivers at least. It would save you the trouble of updating them after a restore.

Time - I download them all to a flash drive, extract them and install and I doubt it takes even 30 minutes start to finish. That's with an SSD and me walking away from the laptop occasionally.....

@cylphid ok,but if I download the drivers and also the NVIDIA drivers before I back it up will it like, overload or something? I plan to put it in a DVD+R, 4.7 gb or something =)

Nope, download the new>uninstall the old>install new>delete the setup packages you downloaded.

It's a good idea to save those drivers to a flash drive - saves you the trouble of redownloading them if you need them later.

    Questions are never lame.

When you download the drivers, it leaves a list of packages, usually in your downloads folder.

When you install a package, windows copies the needed files to their proper locations in the operating system. After that's finished, those drivers you downloaded can be deleted from the downloads folder.

They're referred to by several different names is all, drivers/setup packages/.exes and so on.
