    Default 7970M temps

Any owners please post their temps. I am using MSI afterburner and getting 59 idle and 68 playing Battlefield 3 1080P Ultra. I am running stock core clocks and memory clocks.

M18x R1. I'm getting 45 idle on both cards and hitting a max temp of around 75 degrees during BF3 or Metro 2033. Running at 930/1350.

I'm just curious could you guys also state the room temperature where you did the tests?

I live in a pretty climate controlled house. I'm guessing room temp is around 24c-25c...about 75F

seems to idle a little higher than I would like, but great load temps.

My 485m would idle around 43c, however my 9500m gs in my acer idles around 56c and is around 76c under max gaming load and tops out at 83c when running furmark for an extended period of time.

I am planning to pick up one of these to replace my 485m in the next two weeks or so. Ill post my temps when I get it.

Slick dude great temps at 1ghz core 1.5ghz vram... What volts is that? Stock? I heard 930mhz-1ghz stock volts max. Are you usin msi afterburner to monitor or HWiNFO? HWiNFO fins the 7970m sensor in GPUI2C option. And latest version let's you disable individual GPUI2C sensors which is necessary on one particular sensor to prevent bsod on read in HWiNFO on the 7970M. Credit goes to SVL7 for working with Mumak to find a work around... Ie the new version allowing individual GPUI2C sensors to be disabled.
