Re: 7970M temps
On furmark burn in test I'm getting an average of 12fps and max temp of 60.
It's definitely running off the 7970M: "GPU 1 (AMD WIMBLEDON XT) - core: 850 MHz, mem: 1200 MHz, temp 53C, GPU Usage: 100%)"
I think my card is busted or something...
Edit: I pressed FN + F7 to switch BACK to Enduro graphics and whitelisted Furmark and now its avg. 50fps at stock.
Max temp 67oC

Re: 7970M temps
Reviewing your test, I think you tested the onboard card. GPU load was at 0%, and would be 99%.
And I think that was supposed to give 45 FPS, not 30 FPS. I'm pretty sure you ran the test over the intel 4000.

Re: 7970M temps
If you have a alienware, press FN + F7 to activate the 7970m.
If you are on a clevo, go to desktop, right click on the screen, choose "Switchable Graphics" and set Furmark program to run at "high performance". This will enable the 7970m during the test
Also check if the power mode of the windows are high-performance...
Run the test again and post here.
I'll research it, but I noticed that the test of Notebookcheck (http://www.notebookcheck.net/Alienwa....75292.0.html), also scored 17 fps in Furmark for this card. So, donīt panic
