    hm doesnt mention the 7900m series in the changelog tho. or did i miss it in the description?

    It isn't included. You can try to run the setup file but it will install everything except the display driver. I tried to mess with the inf files but failed. Installing via device manager works.

    And the brightness issue is still here.

    will these work no issues at all for my 7970m? anything to warrant installing these over my dell stock 7970m drivers?

    if you are on the 12.5 beta modded drivers, don't install the 12.6's because 3dmark11 and Vantage actually went down.

    Skyrim did go up a few frames though

    im on the stock dell drivers. Should i install 12.5 beta? Is there a link for a working 12.5 beta for the 7970m?

    there's a link to the 12.5 beta 7900 modded drivers in my 7970m guide. Without disabling the integrated graphics, they may not work for you. You can try FN+F7 to dedicated, do a custom install and see if the "display driver" is an option to install.

    They will increase your scores over the stock dell drivers.

    installed 12.5, new scores at 1010/1660
    i hit over 25k gpu score in vantage
    AMD Radeon HD 7970M video card benchmark result - Intel Core i7-3610QM Processor,Alienware M17xR4 score: P24280 3DMarks
