yeah and it shows ur core at 860 as well, do you believe me now? btw sick score

    im using 1075v vbios 900/1300....then i overclocked to 1020/1650

my card at stock voltage wont even overclock to 950, but bumping it to 1075v made it OC very well.

sounds right, me being able to jack up the bandwidth helps a lot, hence my 6800k score.

You will see larger differences in mem clocking because the chips themselves play a part. Before it was the IMC which is pretty similar on all chips.

The hynix chips are rated for 1250mhz and there are 8 of them and the slowest will set the max clocks. So you could see a large variation.

You could also see an improvement if you were brave and found some higher rated hynix chips.............

I'm thinking of buying a 9150 with the 7970m. Would it be worth getting the IC Diamond upgrade for better OC'ing?

depends how much and if you are willing to do it yourself to save the money. Always better to do it yourself but if your lazy or can't do it yourself then buy it
