Re: Surprise! It's a new Call of Duty! (Black Ops 2).
i hate cod but i still buy it for some unknown reason.
i did quite like the look of this though. i do like treyarchs single player campaign.
id actually like to see a mp reveal just to see if they have taken any ideas from cod community to stop or cut down camping

Ugh... I can't believe that even after MW3 I'm actually interested in this.
I've always been sort of a futurist, and the entire setting in the trailer cries out to me. Even if it's still using the same engine. Again.Malibal Lotus P150EM-SE

IG Extended: Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Campaign Interview w/ Mark Lamia - YouTube
After hearing this it seems they might be finally snapping out of the Linear run and gun movie scene gameplay.
Mark Lamia sounds like a guy with vision, so I'm hopeful to see some gameplay improvements (not even worried about graphical improvements).Last edited by andros_forever; 2nd May 2012 at 03:39 PM.

Re: Surprise! It's a new Call of Duty! (Black Ops 2).
A Xbox 360 uses a GPU similar to a X1800 but i agree, this is not very impressive.
But for me CoD is basically Quake for the kids.
I wont buy it right away but il probably pick it up on a steam sale so i can play in singleplayer, even if it might end up short.Clevo P170HMx: Intel Core i7 2720QM | Nvidia Geforce GTX 680m 4GB | 8GB DDR3 | Intel SSD 510 120GB | Seagate Momentus XT 500 GB

Re: Surprise! It's a new Call of Duty! (Black Ops 2).
I've actually enjoyed all of the CoD games. The worst one was CoD 5. I just finished playing MW3 over again. I've played all of them through at least twice. I won't pay the initial price, but when it drops on sale I'll get it for sure.

LOL! What next are they going to be rigging chariots to them and going to battle against Exoskeleton robots??
My sentiments exactly smh...at least this game looks silly enough to borrow from someone to play over a weekend but....I just can't get over the horses smhToshiba Qosmio X875-Q7390 **FOR SALE**

if it indeed uses the inferior COD4 engine, I will this time protest it and won't buy it, enough is enough

Re: Surprise! It's a new Call of Duty! (Black Ops 2).
I think it was mentioned in the interview - it's a flashback mission to the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan.
Treyarch have a propensity for flashback missions anyway, so that's where the horses come in.
I'm more excited for the apparently RTS experience you can possibly get in the game, but lets see how they pull it off.
