I think he was mistaken in the tldr use, it should be too long didnt play.

and yes the ending is abysmal. Although im going for the second playthrough now, and I kept all my weapons, and mods, and the money that was left, not to mention the experience

-You can't jump!?. You couldn't in the other games...
-in Most locations that aren't locked areas (door pending to be opened/secure first) you can just run past the enemies and they die by them selves. Uhhhhh what?
-The action is limited, you can't grab enemies, there is few melee styles. You can grab enemies if you're in cover and behind them.

Tldr: the game sucks. Dont buy it. Unless you like fighting 12 year olds on the multiplayer, if your like me, you probably KNOW already Cs 1.6 multiplayer is far superior to any other game multiplayer.
Multiplayer is just like Halo or GoW where it's computer based waves of enemies, not 12 year olds roflcopter. You play with other people but play against the computer

Just a warning to anyone who plays online, there is a glitch where randomly it gives you the welcome screen like when you first joined and another free starter pack and BF3 pack if you have it. Great deal right!?

Wrong it also resets ALL of your unlockables including characters and weapons. DO NOT spend any bioware points on spectre crates until this is fixed. Its happened to me twice, and ive lost 3 elite weapons (pistol, AR, and Sniper Rifle) along with at least 20 consumables, and 4 character unlocks. Luckily i didnt spend any real money on this stuff just in game credits that i earned through multi player, but its still frustrating as hell

Heres a thread on biowares site on the issue

Dunno, maybe im getting old, and ive got less and less time to spent with videogames but...im quite enjoying it. Im doing small sessions about 1-2hours long and im making sure to do sidequests and talk with everyone.

Maybe its not on par with ME2, but the feeling of going back to it is strong.
Afterall i like it. Maybe the key is stop living up the hype or to expect glorious things from anything these days.
Just get the games as they come and for what they are, being pissed over a game (unless is really, really really bad) its a waste of brain cells imho.

100% agree. Its not as good as ME2, its even more limited then ME1 (IMHO). Do mission run back to citidal again and again. I do miss my old crew from from ME2. Its nice to interact with old squad mates, but not the same. The game does feel rushed sometimes, not as flushed out as ME2. I speak with everyone, and I'm doing all side missions (WHY NOT). I only play for maybe 1-2 hours at a time. As for the ending at least its better then RAGE.

Now, I haven't finished ME3 myself yet, but as for being not as good as ME2, I'd give it some time for them to release more DLC. I think some of ME2's best missions were actually from DLC as opposed to the original game. Lair of the Shadow Broker springs to mind, and Overlord is my favorite ME2 mission ever.

I always really liked ME2, but I liked it a lot more with all the DLC. Without it, is was basically like "do a bunch of fetch missions to build a team, then to three story missions and you're done." Hopefully the same will be true of ME3.

If a game is only good with paid DLC, then I would consider the game "not good". What's the point of buying a game at full price if you need the DLC to really enjoy it?

That being said I think Mass Effect 2 is a really good game, I just disagree with your "wait until the DLC" point.

I'm nearing the end of ME3.. don't want to give anything away but on the final mission(s). So far I've enjoyed ME3 but its best moments were catching up with squadmates from ME2. ME2 had such good character development that it was a joy to see them return in ME3.

me2 had to have character depth, since its only build a squad and go. And yes I still like me1 better. And me3 was jump in quality from me2.

So...I've been keeping up with the whole pro's/con's of on-disc DLC and how Bioware is handling the customer backlash. I feel that they are handling it wrong and its reflecting on the entire company. It seems like they are trying to pick a fight with the consumer....bad, bad, bad business. Me personally, ME3 is my last Bioware game for a while, at least until they fire/hire some people.

What do you guys think? Do you feel it is OK for a company release day 1, on-disc DLC? Especially if it is an essential part of the games lore or do you feel like the company in question is trying to milk their customers for everything they're worth before they move on to their next franchise title.
