They cut 70W from the 560 Ti.

Actually, according to some speculation the gtx 680 was intended to be the 670 TI but since AMD didn't step up their game with the 7970 and the "680" beat it, they wanted to put the 680 label for marketing reasons.

The GTX 670 or 670 Ti will probably be the basis for our 680m, since the TDP for that part will probably be below that of the 560 Ti(170W), which the 580M is based off. ---GTX 680 has a 195W TDP and reaches it well.

^^ he answered yes I think it should be possible to cut 95w when one can do 70w..

anyway, this is just wishful thinking

What I love about kepler is lower TDP, less heat, performance increase is a plus but not a must, even if its performance is the same as 560m then i'm more than happy with it.

I just read on a Chinese forum that 660m will be the GPU in W150ER/W170ER but they won't be in P150EM/P151EM, let's hope it's wrong.

SAD news T_T, and GT but not GTX? I hope the BIOS will be changed, since the 680m will be pretty pricy .

The GT 650M used here comes with only 2GB DDR3 VRAM from Samsung Q470. The GDDR5 GT 650M will score a lot better???
