    GIGABYTE - Media - News - Notebook & Netbook

They also feature a gaming notebook with a 660m

    Now this is interesting!

    GT 640M Intel Core i5-2467M (1.60-2.30 GHz, 17W TDP):
    STALKER 1366x768 Ultra settings
    Day: 56.2FPS
    Night: 60.1FPS
    Rain: 70.5 FPS
    Source

    GT 540M Intel Core i7 2630QM (2.0-2.9GHz, 45W TDP)
    STALKER 1366x768 High settings
    Day: 46FPS
    Night: 44FPS
    Rain: 46FPS
    Source

Wonder what the comparison would be running Ultra on both?

OH, wonder what that GTX 660M gonna be like. Fermi or Kepler? Perhaps its a juiced up GT 650M aka overclocked one since it is also a 128bit like 650M.

Yeah me too. I bet we get close to the performance difference we saw with Resident evil, around 65ish %. Man that Kepler is looking really good if you ask me

Hmm, I wonder if the new Asus N76 will have the 660m.
    N75 has a 555m at 45W TDP.
So, a 45W 660m should go right in

time to start saving 7870 being that powerful (yeah, looks like it is just busted in BF3, kills in the rest) implies one thing, gtx 660Ti will beat it bad, otherwise I am sure nvidia would have also started releasing, they are waiting till amd plays all their cards I am sure..

The thing is, that we might get GTX 680M very soon. They say GTX 680 is launching 12th March now, and its a GK104 core, which is what I think the 680M will be based on. Both have 256 bit memory controller. Nvidia have all engines running now (I hope)

Here are todays news about 680:
Nvidia will ‘launch’ GK104/Kepler/GTX680 in a week | SemiAccurate

I already have my money waiting btw. Since January.
I`m not shure if I go for AMD or Nvidia though. Waiting to see what they both offer first
