while he was too embarassed to give out the OCed score as he left these words:

    (I) won't post the OCed 3Dmark06 score, as there is no difference (between stock and OCed), (what the) fvck!

I guess low bandwidth provided by 128bit D3 vram becomes the bottle neck for its 06 benchmark.

Note: That GT650M 06 benchmark is with resolution 1366x768.
If that holds true i can already see DXG reballing a low profile Kepler on a 580/675 Fermi board and OC the heck out of it. AKA homemade 680m

That would be a downgrade. 580M/675M can surely kick mobile GK107's a55.

I hope 680m could be made of mobile GK104
since someone has revealed that desktop GK104 only has 2-6pins power supply and similar TDP as GTX560TI.

    Spoiler :

Do you remember someone claimed that 650M on W110ER could achieve P10000 vantage score? (Which I think might be true for a similar resolution other than P set.)
WOW, that is a pretty good OC result. About the same score as GTX 570M got and almost 2x the performance at stock settings. This could mean that a 28nm with a lot of headroom can give an average Kepler pretty good performance, even if it is a 128bit. I`m curios about real game performance with this overclocked 2000M though since I don`t entirely trust benchmarks. Do you know if the 760/1060 was stable, or if the GPU was just barely hanging on?

If only this GT650M is real, that could give a good bang for the bucks.

    Awesome thank you!

Looks to be the first real benchmarks of the 640m!

    How can I rep someone?

Very interesting! They have only run a 3dmark 05 benchmark, cinebench 10, cinebench 11.5 and tested 3 Games.. Stalker, RE:5 and Lost Planet 2

in general, no test ultrabutsite with graphical benchmarks, but Timeline Ultra situation is different, of course in a good way. GT 640M get 15,100 points - a few thousand more than GT 525M, for example. 3DMark 2011 failed to start, but the reason might be in the drivers.
    Spoiler :

Lets see how much the 540m in the m11x r3 gets then (also ULV, but a bit better the 2657m)

    M11x R3 2657M 4096 MB 672 / 900MHz 2048MB Shadertakt: 1344 MHz, DDR3-VRAM ForceWare 267.21 15216 Points
    Source

Now lets not forget that the acer uses an Ultra-low-Voltage i5-2467m processor

Can someone give a good indication of where the 640m stands in comparison to the 500m series???

Its probably too outdated.. but maybe the avg fps of stalker, resident evil 5 and lost planet 2 give a good indication? Also there are cinebench 10 and 11.5 benchmarks

    GT 650M = GK107-200
    GTX 660M = GK107-300

First sampled in September 2011, the GK107 will appear in a variety of N13 GeForce M GPUs, N14 Quadro M GPUs. In addition, GK107 will also make it to the desktops as D14 or GeForce 600. There will be two variants of GK107, GK107-200 GPU in D14M2-20 and the top bin GK107-300 in D14P1-10 SKU. The GK107-300 variant will be powered by GDDR3 or GDDR5 memory, while the GK107-200 will sport 512MB of DDR3 RAM.

At first glance, the GK107 PCB and heatsink is very similar to the ones used for the GeForce GT 440 (GF108 based, which the GPU GK107 will replace) with identical dimensions. Like the GF108, the GK107 will feature a 128-bit memory interface. The heatsink + fan system will also be similar - a shroud-less heatsink with an 11 blade axial fan, albeit with minor modifications for GK107. Legacy VGA output will be dropped for 1 DVI-I DL output, 1 DVI-D or HDMI out, and a third port with either mini-DP or mini-HDMI.

The two variants of GK107 are likely to be branded GeForce GT 6x0, and may well be two of NVIDIA's final entry-level GPUs with AMD's A-Series and Intel's HD IGPs starting to cannibalize the entry-level market.
