Re: League of Legends
Problem is, even if ACU has 4 lvl30s helping, it's still not a guaranteed win. It'll match with teams of about similar average lvls so the other team may not have all lvl30s but it may be filled with 25s and stuff ._. Individual skill and team composition also plays a big role

Re: League of Legends
This thread has become almost a pure discussion thread. I think it's time to work more actively towards getting some matches going between NBR members. As such I propose that we at least create a Steam group where those that feel like it can hook up with whoever is online. Once we've worked out which times are best suited for game nights we can start having events on a regular basis.
I'm welcoming everyone to share their thoughts on this matter. If you approve, do you want a simple group (not guild) name like "NBR League of Legends"? Also, would anyone be interested in being an administrator?

I just purchased Maokai and wow is he ever fun to play.
I never used to like tanking but since getting an off-tank in Mundo I'm loving it.

Re: League of Legends
Does steam cost anything? If not sure, why not give it a try? If not free, still sure. Just feel free to post agreed times here for the non-steamers. :P
Also, I think matching is a factor of both level and elo in normal, with elo meaning more as level advances. My 'just try stuff' lev 9 account can take a good long while to match compared to my normal account, and is really not that far behind insofar as win-loss ratio goes. So elo is not the only criteria. That coupled with knowing how games go with ppls of differing actual play levels (many summoner lev 30s) leads me to believe its something like that under the hood.

Re: League of Legends
Steam is free but in order to actually add people as friends fenris needs to own one game on steam. Baka is not sure about free games being counted as owning a game though ._.
Also, Baka plays when Baka pleases
Though Baka mainly plays if there it's a premade with 4 people at least usually ._.

That's really annoying btw Baka.
And steam is free, you don't need any games to use it as a IM client. There is also xfire, and origin and raptr which are all do the samething.
Xfire and raptr are the only ones you can't buy games off of.
I'd say steam or xfire.
