Playdota.com has some good guides, not sure if there's any specific dota 2 guides though. The courier is to carry items from store to your hero so you don't have to walk back every time you need to shop.

Re: Dota 2 Discussion thread
Sorry for the bump. I created a DotA2 thread cuz I couldn't find one that currently existed and then the OP here redirected me to here.
Anyways, my steam ID is steadylurkin. Add me and let's play some games!
Currently, I like playing as OD. It's nice during team fights to have 3 stacks of the astral imprisonment buff and then ulti the hell outta the other team. Really shifts the game, especially late game.
Anyone play Spirit Breaker? I've kind of grown an interest in playing him after spectating some matches with him and going against some good SB players, but there were some guides I read that you'll lose more games with him than win.

Re: Dota 2 Discussion thread
Spirit breaker is pretty good and i have a good win % with him. Make sure you maximize the empowering haste (skill 2) in the beginning that will give you a huge advantage in last hitting as well as early fights (with 1 level of greater bash). But beware that when u play sb, the team expects you to initiate fights or gank coz a bassive sb is useless.
