Anyone else compared this to another driver? Like anything else then BF3. What about tempratures?

I just installed this driver, picked "custom installation" and then checked the box for "clean install" or whatever. It will remove the old driver for you and install this one. Worked fine for me.

A proper clean way to reinstall drivers can be found in the guide in my sig.
Unfortunately using clean install in nvidia setup doesn't get rid of the old files, just settings.
Most of those files are locked in the os for various reasons such Antiviruses, paging file etc.
Using driver sweeper method in safe mode get rid completely of the old files for a new installation.

I have an HDX with 8800m GTS and this driver performs better and looks better (more vivid) in both games (DA:O, SC2, FO3) and bench marks. Idle and max temp is about 3-5 degrees higher, but well within limits/preferences. But the BEST thing for me is it is the first driver I can use since the 197 series that doesn't lock up my laptop when browsing/using flash.

That's clearly the power of triple A titles: make devs release decent drivers
