Re: Battlefield 3 Discussion Thread
What is ArmA and AA? Which one is America's Army? What is the other one?

Re: Battlefield 3 Discussion Thread
AA = America's Army
ArmA is a hardcore sim combat compared to any other FPS. America's Army 3 feels kind of bland compared to today's shooter, even back then. If you ask me, AA feels like a blatant advertisement to join the army (sponsored by the US Army).
The other one is MW3, Modern Warfare 3, Call of Duty 7 or 8...I'm not sure.Notebook: Lenovo Y560 "Lain"|i7 740QM|OC'D: ATI HD Radeon 5730m|5400RPM 500GB WD HDD|8GB DDR3 G.SKILL

Re: Battlefield 3 Discussion Thread
It's ok.
It's a shame that it would remembered for most people as a game got popular cause of a zombie mod that barely in alpha state.HP dv6t-3000 CTO Select Edition - Intel i5-520m, 8GB DDR3, AMD Radeon 5650m,

Re: Battlefield 3 Discussion Thread
There's this new mod out for ArmA 2 called DayZ and it's supposed to be an amazing zombie survival mod using the vast expanses and player counts capable on the ArmA 2 engine. I haven't bought it cause buying ArmA 2 for $30 for a free mod that's still in alpha doesn't make too much sense to me. Still, some of you may give it a shot.

Re: Battlefield 3 Discussion Thread
BF3 is really irritating me. I was on a caspian border map about 10 guys at one flag, 5 of them support, yet not one of them would drop ammo. I was all outta ammo too. running around screaming ammo ammo, drop some freaking ammo, even texted it and not a one...

Re: Battlefield 3 Discussion Thread
Yeah, that's happened to me too a lot. Usually I go on a suicide run to try and pick up someone else's kit.

Re: Battlefield 3 Discussion Thread
^ that happens when people play it CoD-style. i always drop ammo and medkit packs whenever our team is attacking/defending an objective, so that my teammates never run out of health/ammo or whenever i see the health or ammo icon on friendly players. in fact, i usually get a lot of points by doing these side jobs, rather than killing 50 enemies per game.
