Re: Battlefield 3 Discussion Thread
Then it's a great anti-camper weapon. Remove the stupid kill cam and leave the IRNV as is. I even feel as if the kill cam in regular mode is stupid, I feel guilty every time I use it to find someone who just killed me.
Also, 3D spotting needs to GO. It sucks and clutters up the HUD too much.

Re: Battlefield 3 Discussion Thread
Bah! If you need to use a silencer then you are to close to the enemy in the first place (exception being the SKS + IR scope + silencer + Foregrip.) Whenever I play Recon I usually am far enough away so that it doesn't matter if people see me/hear my shots, they can't do much about it.
I will take my M16A4 (not A3) or the AN-94 over all the LMG's in pretty much every situation.
The ASVAL makes me happy. It really does. Sure, its underpowered, has a tiny clip, and can't use a foregrip, but it rocks if you use it correctly. Aim for the head + don't use the entire clip== many, many headshots and many people mad at you.

I think regen health is sorta ok. It's the regenerative armor that's stupid. Although with the regen health, I almost feel that your health should decrease slowly if you're below a certain level, like a bleed out. Armor does this which makes less sense (well unless it's really on fire, lol).

Re: Battlefield 3 Discussion Thread
I am havin trouble with the F2000. I haven't unlocked it, but it seems over powered. I have been using the IAR-27. I will line up an enemy with the IAR and open fire before he does, he will them sight me up with his F2000 and kill me before I kill him due to his weapons higher rate of fire. Very annoying to get the first shot off only to loose a duel, although I guess it is possible they are headshoting me every time, but I doubt it.

Re: Battlefield 3 Discussion Thread
I don't think so. Depends on the environment. Without silencer, it will put a triangle over your head and light you up on the map. If you're around a lot of trees, rocks, bushes, you can conceal yourself well, while being plenty close to take people out.
Then again, I'm starting to like hardcore servers more. I seem to do better, because people are less trigger happy due to teamkills. Although I don't know how many times people have teamkilled me just to steal the chopper or gunner position, and nobody does anything about it! That's the primary thing that keeps me away from FF OFF servers.
