If you notice assaultsuit's profile says he's in Paraguay - so he's getting Steam South American prices - maybe that accounts for the different prices.

I check Steam Specials every day as well as Specials on other Gaming Software sites every day but I mostly have every game that I want now. 204 Steam games + maybe 40 non Steam games are on my gaming desktop. In all the games take around 1.3 TB of hard drive space.

But I wait for latest release games to get cheap or go on sale. Like I'll wait for Mass Effect 3 and Anno 2070 to go to $25 before I get them. I'll buy Alan Wake at $15. I have so many games to play that I just started and so many games I didn't start too.

Yes, but the price just lowered recently. Last sale the base price was $20

Me too... I'm addicted to sales, and have patience. I usually don't buy anything with less than 66% off on discount... and don't pay more than $7.50 unless it's a pack

I think I bought Civ 5 retail a year ago at $30. The box version is better because you get printed materials.

This 2K sale didn't affect me much, as I had most every game I wanted. I haven't even started my Borlands game and I'm stuck in Mafia 2.

I'm looking forward to the first ANNO 2070 sale on Steam though, but I haven't even conquered my first scenario in ANNO 1404.

Ha! Your right! I just checked myself. I even added to cart and it still says $19.99

Hopefully STEAM figures this out soon, or there will be a lot of unhappy customers flooding STEAM Support.
