re: Steam Games Deals - Summer Sale Live
i got the $8.50 oblvion deal and ended up spending over 120 hrs in the game. i generally do not like hack and slash--but there is just so much to do in the game.
i bit on the borderlands deal and am downloading now. i have been waiting for such a deal.
i wait for steam deals for games i have been on the fence to buy.

I got the Oblivion deal too, but unfortunately all I keep getting are nv4_disp crashes.
Hopefully I will have better luck with the Borderlands deal!

re: Steam Games Deals - Summer Sale Live
Awesome. Missed out on the DLC when they were on sale in the summer. Now my collection is complete.
The 3 DLCs alone were 3.5 GB for me.
Been playing the main game since May. Got one of each character going, though my furthest is a lvl 35 sniper who is one quest away from completing playthrough 1 and I must say it has been a BLAST. While the game alone is pretty fun, it becomes quite amazing with friends, especially when each of you plays a different class. Now I want to play again...First laptop, now retired into multimedia (5th GPU):
Dell XPS M1710: T7400 | 7950 GTX | 4 GB DDR2 RAM | 320 GB WD HDD | Win7 Pro x64
Current gaming laptop:
MSI GX640-260: i5-450M | ATI HD5850 | 4 GB DDR3 | 500 GB HDD | Win7 x64
Custom desktop:
i7-950 | ATI HD6970 | 6 GB DDR3 | 128 GB SSD, 1 TB WD HDD | Win7 x64 Pro | Samsung 23" LED

I can't open Borderlands. It says "failed to contact key server". Are they out of keys again just like Fuel?
