re: Steam Games Deals - Summer Sale Live
I can't believe I missed the Mass Effect deals... I really would like to pick up the game now, but I don't want to pay full price. Does anyone have any idea when EA would have a discount again on Steam?

re: Steam Games Deals - Summer Sale Live
from some newsletterPlayers who buy Global Agenda can enjoy the game's current content in its entirety, including all existing PvP combat, PvE solo and co-op content, and AvA seasons, without a monthly subscription payment now or in the future. Future content updates will be delivered via optional paid expansions.
The first major expansion, Sandstorm, will be included for free to the entire Global Agenda community. To celebrate this change, the game is being offered for 33% off on Steam from now through July 5, as part of Steam's Summer Sale.NEW: Precision M6600: i7 2960xm, 256GB SSD PM830, 750GB HDD WD Scorpio Black, 16GB@1333 Mhz, AMD 7970m, 17.3" FHD

re: Steam Games Deals - Summer Sale Live
Steams doing it right, discounting games so that people dont pirate games, smart marketing.

I'm thinking about getting Mount and Blade Warband but I think I'll wait until the last day of the sale to make up my mind. The huge multiplayer battles are what look awesome about it.

re: Steam Games Deals - Summer Sale Live
...
I'm not online for ONE DAY and I miss Bioshock 2, Unreal Pack, and Killing Floor. Well, I can always hope for them to repeat at the very end, right?
Still looking at those three, L4D 1 (played the second one but want the first for the story), Painkiller BE, The Witcher, Devil May Cry 4, and RE5.
On that note, would anyone recommend RE5 for someone who has NEVER played any of the RE games? I'm a pure PC gamer BTW...First laptop, now retired into multimedia (5th GPU):
Dell XPS M1710: T7400 | 7950 GTX | 4 GB DDR2 RAM | 320 GB WD HDD | Win7 Pro x64
Current gaming laptop:
MSI GX640-260: i5-450M | ATI HD5850 | 4 GB DDR3 | 500 GB HDD | Win7 x64
Custom desktop:
i7-950 | ATI HD6970 | 6 GB DDR3 | 128 GB SSD, 1 TB WD HDD | Win7 x64 Pro | Samsung 23" LED

re: Steam Games Deals - Summer Sale Live
I haven't played RE5 yet (though I did just pick it up from today's deal
), but I did play RE4 without having every played any of the other RE games. I didn't find that I was missing out on much of anything at all, and I enjoyed the hell out of it. I'm guessing that RE5 would be no different.
