^ well that makes it easy.. thanks for that note lackofcheese. So if I want to play crysis in 64bit on my steam, just extract the bin64, gotcha.

    repped! and edited

You're not supposed to talk about illegal activities in these forums, so you might want to edit your post. My post was very carefully worded with that in mind.

Also, I had to swap the Bin64 and Bin32 folders in the original Crysis for 64-bit to work (I know it's 64-bit that's running because Task Manager says its Crysis64.exe and doesn't have the *32 label. I'm not entirely sure why this is necessary, but I'm guessing it's some kind of authentication issue.

i have a friend who seems to think it is by the fact he keeps yelling for me to get it, the sale could give the multiplayer a boost.... i have no idea how alive it is now though.

edit: well he just gifted me it :\ i'll let you know if you want

Could you also give a first impression as to the gameplay for those of us who have never played any racing games on the PC? And does it feel adequate to play it with just a mouse and keyboard?

    Cheers

well it's very arcadey, but i like it. i played it a bit when it first came out and i liked it then, theres lots of variety with different types of races and you can create 'party' with mates to crash around the city with, and the city's big

with regards to keyboard i don't think any racing game should be played with it, but i played it 2 years ago on it and it was fine.
a good buy for the price...

All great games, all good deals. Though I didn't expect Spore to still be so high in price.

Anyways, I was hoping that there would be a deal on Dragon Age, but still nothing....well, I can wait til tomorrow

edit: just saw the front page of the thread, Dragon Age day on sunday =)
