Default It's hard to believe the X-Files debuted nearly 20 years ago!!

I'm just looking through my Prime Video wishlist, and considering watching the X-Files again, when I noticed the original air date of the pilot episode, September 10, 1993.
Has it really been almost 20 years??? Gawd. It's still one of my favorite series of all time, though I wonder if the episodes are just as timeless.

^^^Same thing here. Watched half of the series when I was still a child. Didn't understand the half of it, but it still was so cool.

I watched the series from beginning to end when it was on the air, only missing a few episodes. Some of the episodes were really creepy, but I highly doubt they'd be so scary to me today. Perhaps I've been desensitized or they're just not that scary any more. It kind of reminds me of the old scary 1950's movies that are just laughable today.

I love Kill Switch! But it's not that unfathomable to believe there could be a brilliant hacker out there who is also a stunningly beautiful woman and has good taste in music. Though her makeup and all black leather clothing was a little over the top. The actress also plays in one of my favorite Outer Limits episodes, "Stasis".
I was/am a huge fan of the mythology episodes, I never cared so much for the monster/paranormal ones.

X-Files. One of my favorite Sci-Fi series of all time. I liked it so much I named my dogs Mulder and Scully.

I thought the first movie was awesome and brilliant. Still holds up well even to this day. The second one was just weird and meh.

I actually have/had X-Files seasons on VHS. I think I trashed them though...
