I used to love the X files, I never saw all the episodes though, perhaps it's time to start watching it again.

I've began re-watching 'em few days ago. Good stuff. Lol Mulder is such a nerd.

Amazing show. It's on Netflix I remember my first "scary memory" when I was a child happened during an X Files show. Even today the theme song creeps me out.

I haven't seen the first movie, but I saw the second one. And to be honest I liked it. Camp seems to be divided about this movie. One half likes it, other don't. Sure it's not your usual X-Files kinda stuff, but as I like such kind of sick/weird movies (Seven, Copycat, Red Dragon, etc.) I found it to be very much enjoyable.
Not to mention the fact that it was probably the last time when we saw the magnificent Mulder+Scully duo, which I personally think was one of the best on the TV.
There were plans to make a third one as I know, but the chances are very slim at the moment, since they wanted to film one by 2012...

I'm just surprised it ran for 9 seasons. After David Duchovny left to pursue his own movie career (which flopped lol), the show kind of went down hill. They had to bring in two actors just to replace him, but I admit I think season 9 was actually pretty good.

Was it really 9 seasons? I thought it was only 5?

Yep, 9 seasons. I really liked agents Reyes and Doggett, I thought they had great chemistry together. In a way I wish they would have brought them in much earlier. But I remember the ratings plummetted after Duchovny left and they had to bring in two new actors just to fill his shoes. Once Mulder finally returned I felt the show improved a great deal. Just when the two new actors finally found their stride, the show ended.
The ending on the other hand, I thought was pretty stupid.

    Wow, I didn't know there was a second X Files game. A pity I don't have a playstation 2.

Yeah I remember when I was watching and there was no Mulder, I was like "WTH is this crap". No Mulder, no game.

Didn't he come back in the very last episode(s)? I guess he would have made things better again, but it was too late.

I still wait for a show with a good ending .

Also I hate when they cut a story into three episodes. I it's like 1 o'clock, I'm planning to watch one episode and then hit the sack, but when I discover that it's cut into two parts. Ok, I watch the other one, which also end with "to be continued" message. All in all, I end up going at 4 o'clock to bed.
