There are quite a few things in store for Tyrion and yeah he's one of my favorite characters. Those who read the books know what i'm talking about. I'm not gonna spoil it for the rest of you who are only watching the series.

Charles is right, the books go into much more details which is quite nice. Thankfully there is nothing so boring as some parts of the second LOTR book when Frodo and Sam are on their way to Mordor. It was boring in the movies, but nowhere as god awful as in the books. None of that kind of nonsense in the Song of Ice and Fire Books. For those who didn't know Song of Ice and Fire is the name for the series of books. First book is entitled A Game of Thrones, second one is A Clash of Kings.

I started the fifth book, but then i started The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes in the mean time and kind of stopped reading A Dance with Dragons.

i started watching this show this morning, have finished 6 episodes so far.
Three days later there's no texts, what the hell did you expect,
he's only in it for himself, for the money, for the wealth.
A shallow kiss to fill a void, a broken heart, a lonely boy,
you took advantage of his pain, took his dignity for fame!

i really don't think Theon killed the 2 Stark boys. something tells me the 2 burned bodies were of those 2 ophan boys that were put on the farm to help out.

I only started watching it recently, but then again, I only started reading it recently. I'm reading it first, then watching the episode that corresponds to what I've read (Wikipedia's pretty good at saying which parts of the book are used for which episode). I just now watched Episode 8; I absolutely love it, both the book and the TV show.

Well, watched season one and while it follows the book well enough, there are still a lot of details missing.

Like this one for example (spoiler for those who haven't watched the first half of the first season):
    Spoiler :
I wonder how they will explain the attempted assassination on Bran in season 2 if they bother explaining it. Major spoiler coming on who ordered it.
    Spoiler :
In book #1, when the king was at Winterfell, Joffrey and Bran fought with practice swords and Joffrey got his rear handed to him. This prompted him to get someone to kill Bran out of spite IIRC. I wonder how they'll explain that one in the series if they do explain it. Tyrion is totally innocent of the crime. The dagger wasn't the IMP's, it belonged to the king who won it at a tournament and Joffrey took it without looking at it to give it to the assassin, Littlefinger lied for reasons we all know.
