Re: Fox Cancels "Terra Nova"
This is where cable has an advantage and why I prefer cable series over TV series. They tend to buy an entire season. But their vetting process is better in that they can finance the idea after being pitched in various forms. From a mere treatment, to a storyboard, to a screen play of each proposed episode.
That and they have more money to devote to quality than the networks do.
And let's face it, network TV has to be neutered by FCC limits whereas cable shows can pull out the stops. From foul language, to realistic violence, nudity and adult situations.
Just think of your favorite network TV shows and how they might have been if they were on cable network like HBO, Showtime, Starz or Cinemax?
Though, some of the CW teen shows cut pretty close to the FCC limit. Like Nikita (love me some Maggie Q) and Vampire Diaries.Brand new, secondhand.
Dividing by zero since 1971.

Re: Fox Cancels "Terra Nova"
Yeah great show with an actual story. I like it alot.
See while I loved terra nova, the story line was pretty bad. It was like a bunch of bad things happen that are loosely if at all tied together and I think that was the shows problem.
