Looks like Prometheus will introduce us to the other race of aliens from the movie (not the Predators, the spaceship that crashed on LV-426 in the original). I think they can do a lot more with the Aliens universe (aside from bad AVP sequels). Maybe Prometheus is the start of a new direction for the franchise. Either way, it has Charlize Theron in it so I can't wait. It would be nice to have a hot female protagonist in the Alien movies for a change. No disrespect to Sig, she was awesome in the original 3 Aliens. She just wasn't that attractive.

I think Prometheus is going to be a great addition to the franchise and go a little ways towards helping us forget about some of the failures (AVP, Resurretion). Actually, I refuse to recognize Alien Resurrection as an entry in this series. I might be wrong, but I think it was actually the sequel to Jason X.

Sucks for me. Back to work so no time for movies now, lol. Taking half day for Avengers but don't want to waste all my vacation time on movies lol. If they were all playing at the same time then maybe a one day off triple header would be in order, lol.

Just got back from the cinema.

Not bad. The script could have been little better but still it was good.

I saw the 3D version and it was very well made, the effect itself was never bad, most of the time I didn't even notice it. Some previous films I've seen in 3D had part of the image become blurry in the background or extreme corners of the screen. Not in the artistic way but more as broken effect. This one was as sharp as you would expect it to be, all the way.

    Spoiler :

if there is atmosphere, people can hear you scream...
